After our last water filter out came the ice produced by our ice machine out cloudy. Not a big problem, except that the pollution in our waters would kind of freeze for a lump in the middle of the ice cubes. When the ice melted, it would leave those nasty looking lumps in our drinks. It is only the minerals in hard water (calcium and whatnot), but it is disturbing to watch. New filter = problem solved. But it would be nice if the price were lower in what is essentially an overgrown Britta filter.
